Personal information protection

"Personal information" means any information about you that allows you to be identified directly or indirectly, in particular by combining it with other information.

We collect only the information necessary for the purposes described below.

Browsing and audience measurement

When you browse our site, we collect website usage data (pages viewed, date, time, duration and frequency of visits, traffic sources, browser type and operating system) using the Matomo Cloud web analytics platform. By default, this platform places no cookie and collects no data until you have consented.

If you accept analytics cookies, two cookies are placed and are used to recognize visits anonymously, to count visitors and to know which pages are viewed; they are described in detail in our cookie policy below. This data is used only to measure site performance and improve its content; it is neither cross-referenced with other data nor used to identify you.

"Contact us" form

Email, first name, last name, phone number, institution and message, used only to respond to your request.

This information is routed to and stored on our email infrastructure, hosted on our own servers in Quebec. It is retained for 36 months after the last contact. It also transits through the Brevo platform, where the message is kept for 180 days.

Application form

Resume; first name, last name, email and phone number; French proficiency (to verify the language requirements of the position); work authorization status in Canada (to verify your eligibility for hiring); professional links; answers to the form questions.

This personal information is used only to assess your application. It is routed to the human resources department mailbox, hosted on our infrastructure in Quebec, with access restricted to authorized personnel. It is retained for 36 months after the end of the recruitment process. It also transits through the Brevo platform, where the application (resume, form answers, etc.) is kept for 180 days.

Technical logs

Our servers automatically record certain technical information (including the IP address) for security and proper operation purposes. These logs are kept for 180 days.

• Unsuccessful application: 36 months after the end of the recruitment process
• "Contact us" form message: 36 months after the last contact
• Form information: 180 days
• Website usage data (Matomo): 180 days
• Technical logs: 180 days

Applications leading to a hire are added to the employee record and managed according to the rules applicable to staff.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Information collected through our forms is stored on our infrastructure in Quebec; it also transits through the Brevo platform, a third-party provider described below.

The following tools involve transfers outside Quebec:

• Brevo (Sendinblue France), transmission of form emails: information submitted through the forms ("Contact us" form, application), including the email kept for 180 days, on servers located in the European Union.
• Matomo (InnoCraft Ltd), website audience measurement: usage data (pages viewed, traffic sources, device type) and anonymized IP address, stored in the European Union.
• Google (Maps), display of the office map: IP address when the map loads, processed in the United States.

These transfers outside Quebec are governed by contractual safeguards and are subject to the assessments required by law. No content submitted through our forms transits through Matomo or Google Maps.

You can access your personal information, request that it be rectified, obtain a copy in a structured and commonly used technological format (portability), withdraw your consent at any time, and file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information. Any complaint about non-compliance with this policy can be sent to the same email address; it is handled confidentially and with due care.

The Omnivox platform is operated by Skytech Communications on behalf of educational institutions.

Your institution remains responsible for your personal information and for the exercise of your rights.
